Actually you don't need to remove it every time. You can just loosen it a bit. I remove it in the video just to show it better.

I noticed that as well.
I timed the process and it added a whole four seconds to my shaving routine

So, does the screw has anything to do with the security of the blade and cap?  Can a reviewer please answer this for me.
