My Rocnel SE Razor arrived today.  I'm impressed with the heft(137.7g) and initial quality at first glance.

I was going to shave a few more times with my newly acquired Gillette Tuckaway before I changed up, but this Rocnel SE razor has me wondering how it shaves now....

It probably won't happen. I have been waiting for months. Go to ExtraShave.com and when in stock order directly. If you choose DHL Express delivery you will have it in less then 3 days. I have a Rocnel handle and stand and it's fantastic.

Jerry, I heard from the maker directly so I'm willing to wait for a few more weeks to see what happens.

I also did several months ago but the Rocnel products are being sold through Extrashaving. Both are located in Turkey. The razor is sold out until probably next month. The price is the same 32usd + shipping

Good to know.

Saw a video by Steve the daily shaver about the Rocnel, he says it's too aggressive if I remember correctly. Anyway the price is very tempting, and the material, just wow.

I'm still curious about this one.

I found it to be very efficient, but not too aggressive. I have been using the Rockwell blades, since they are stiffer, and it works very well.

FYI:
I ordered my Rocnel SE Razor from extrashaving.com on May 4 and picked it up from the Post Office on May 16. To be fair, I have a P.O. Box, so it may have been at the Post Office on the 12th but I didn't check the mail on Saturday. I did not choose DHL Express shipping. I usually go this route for international shipments, because of the P.O. Box and packages normally arrive in decent time. I'm also not in a huge rush usually, since I already have WAY more shaving loot than I need.

I had entered on the waiting list at Rocnel directly, but have yet to receive any notification from them. The price from extrashaving.com was the same, so I just ordered it from that website in Turkey. By ordering from extrashaving.com, I did not have a choice for the handle style. I received the knurled stainless handle and that's great, but I didn't have a preference. I would have been happy with any. They now also offer Rocnel smooth or lined stainless handles, Rocnel stainless set screw , and the Rocnel stainless razor stand.

As an aside, I have yet to shave with the Rocnel SE Razor. I held out for one more shave with the Gillette Tuckaway. Maybe in the wee hours tomorrow morning I will take the Rocnel for a spin. We'll see! So many choices these days!
