Rocnel SE Razor with DE Blades

So while I think this razor combines the worst aspects of both SE & DE shaving it could be of interest to someone. Only $25 for a stainless steel razor. It uses half of a DE blade which is what completely ruins this concept for me. Even though, I must be honest that I am tempted to pick one of these up for a friend to try.

can you share what your worst aspects of both DE & SE shaving are?

for $25, I think it's worth a try and I might buy one. does this use standard DE blades or specific DE blades? I can't quite tell from the photo above.

I would be surprised if it is only $25 as they state on their website that they make 3 razors a week (of the DE) with thorough quality controls. The DE including stand and a nice box is $295 (the razor looks great BTW) . $25 would be a bargain and I would definitely buy one (have sent them an e-mail today Smile ).

Worst part of SE is that it isn't a stiff rigid blade which is what most SE shavers prefer and why they switch.

Worst part of DE is that you don't have both sides of the blade to use, so now you are rinsing twice as often for the same blade that you can use in a regular DE razor.

I just don't see the advantages of this razor. The price is amazing but at the moment I'm not going to order. I don't know if an entire DE blade can fit in the razor head or if you must break them in half first. That would be even more work than de-spining a GEM blade and you all have seen how much raucous that caused. Wink

rocnel Is it $25 for the handle and head (complete razor)? People are asking on Instagram too.

All evidence has been buried. All tapes have been erased.

Yes, all(complate) single edge machine 25 usd, (No Stant)

Handle (316 Stainless Steel) 10  Usd, 8,5cm x 13 mm
Head( 316 Stainless Steel) 15 Usd

10 Usd+15 Usd = 25 USD
