I did edit my post. However even in its original form it was not an attack. Maybe a bit strong which is why I toned it down.

if you told me you were looking forward to meeting me at an event where you'd like complain to me face to face about something I do with my business (just as an example), I wouldn't be too thrilled to meet with you.

Constructive criticism is always healthy, complaining about a product just because you don't like the owner of the product or have a back door agenda, that's a different story.

Well, there are ways to talk about it. No business is perfect.

I would be happy to meet with someone under those circumstances. It would be a great opportunity to clear the air and resolve any misconceptions.

we're not going to allow personal attack on this forum.  please leave that to some other venue...

I agree with both of these posts.  We have exactly Stephen's opportunity at the AMA.  Let's keep it civil and I think we can air a lot of grievances in an incredibly constructive manner.  Also, though, no matter what one thinks of Gareth's business model, let's see what he has to say about his upcoming product.  It may turn out to be something you are interested in even if you are willing to wait until you can just order it and have it arrive several days later.  I want to learn about upcoming razors from Rockwell as well as why he uses the business model he does.  I feel the same about any product from a merchant, especially an artisan who may not have the selling advantages of a major corporation.

I believe there's a difference between speaking to someone who teaches your child (most often without any other options available to most families) versus someone that sells safety razors, where there's hundreds of options out there.

Mine was more a general statement.
