Rockwell just released an update to backers, looks like everyone is getting a free replacement of their new model.

Yeah, I am getting one soon, it's been a long time, but hopping they will get it right this time.

I'm confident they've learned a lot from the community as a whole, and a thing or two regarding manufacturing.
I think this new razor will be a winner. I love their handle currently and use it with a Merkur topcap. Excellent shaves.

This is exciting news for all the backers of the Rockwell razor and future regular customers. I am a backer of the yet to be released Single Edge Razor (originally a Kickstarter project) and the issue of quality was discussed by the owner in several releases addressing the problems that companies like (Rockwell) experienced and trying to avoid similar and costly mistakes.  Of course time will tell and lets hope it all turns out well.

Just got mine a few days ago and to me it just looks a little more refined but the shave is the same. I find that the razor is very agressive regardless of the setting. Maybe it's just me. Let me know, guys.

You received your replacement Rockwell 6S MIM razor? Or did you just receive the Kickstarter Edition? I don't think they've shipped their revised MIM razor yet... but I could be wrong.
Do you have pictures you can post?

That's the kickstarter edition. They have not begun shipping the MIM one yet (to my knowledge).
I'll drop them a line and see what's up, and reply here.
