I have both and both are great. But the 6S is too heavy and the 6c is just the right weight. I can't understand the idea of a heavy clunker being used for shaving and all stainless razors except for the Feather AS-D2 are clunky feeling and heavy! Too much so IMHO!!!

Thanks for your input. I am definitely leaning towards the 6c

It seems like a trend these days introducing heavy and bulky razors. The 6S always seemed unnecessarily heavy to me at 113 grams. The 6C appears more in line.

The Rockwell is a wonderful shaver but I wish it had been designed with a more compact head. Same with the Timeless heads.

The Blackland SB and Paradigm 17-4 are nice compact designs sticking to that perfect 100 gram weight area.

Secretary Ramsey put his foot into it yesterday . . . in the course of his remarks he said that California “needs water and better society.”  “So does h-ll,” yelled someone in the crowd.

I have been using the 6C with base #6 daily for about 3 month now. It's the best razor I have shaved with. It's aggressive but smooth and efficient. I absolutely love it. I will probably buy a 6S at some point just to have it.

Anyone have issues with it getting all gunked up? Ive been using cremo with the 5 head on the 6c and I have to take it apart to clean it out, sometimes during a shave. Didn't have that problem with my previous Emarth butterly razor. However, even if it happened it's easier to clean out a twist to open razor. Wondering if I should try a different cream, but with my sensitive skin, Cremo works so well.

Yeah, Cremo says on the label that if it doesn't rinse easily, you didn't add enough water. In my hard water though, Cremo gunks up the razor pretty bad no matter how wet it is.

I have a 6S. I would’ve purchased the 6C if it existed for the weight reason.

There's not a tremendous difference really, but the 6S just feels weighty and significant. Both will give you lovely, smooth shaves.
