Rockwell 6s or 6c?!?!?

Hey all!

So post Christmas I'm going to be ordering a 6s or 6c and was wondering if the 6s is worth the extra money and why you think it is or isn't. Thanks!

I’ve owned them both and prefer the 6s. I’m not sure if it’s the weight of the 6s or not but with plate 4 on both razors I consistently got better shaves with the 6s.

For my personal taste, chrome seems to slide across the face a bit easier. I haven't had that experience with steel or aluminum... Yet.
My only complaint on the chrome version is that it doesn't have the "Rockwell" imprint on the side of the top cap which i think looks great!

I like the heavier 6s better,but both will give you great shaves.

Thanks for all your input! I think it will come down to getting a nice stainless steel razor or having the leftover money to feed my shaving addiction even more!

I’ll be honest there’s not been to many times I’ve regretted spending the extra money on hardware, now software that’s a different matter

6s for me - I did get the 6c in the funding campaign but I didn't realize it was made of zamak, there's really nothing wrong with zamak, I have a few razors made of it but in this case I just like the SS better. I never even tried the 6c, I gave it to a friend.

I would say the 6S. I own the 6S, but not the 6C. After the feeling of how securely the blade feels clamped into the 6S, I think the weight of the razor and how easily it shaves due to that weight is what I noticed most about the 6S. So, even though I don't own the 6C, I still vote 6S.
