If I’m gonna spend 300 on that brush there are 3 other avenues I would pursue first

1 - get a complete custom brush from Mozingo

2 - get a black eagle for 50 more

3 - throw in an extra 200 and get a custom Varlet

Note all 3 of the above include tremendous craftsmanship on the handle AND a wonderfully constructed knot that was hand tied by the artisan.
Don’t forget a Dogwood and Declaration combo.

Not even non hand tied knot, but I think this is a badger/synthetic mixed knot to boot.   As stated, for that kind of cash, I better be getting some upgraded, custom natural hair knot.

My friend bought a green hybrid brush. I bought it for $300. It seems well worth it. Very beautiful.

I have to say that the fit and finish of this collaboration brush is pretty amazing.

I know it was a bit expensive, but I like it very much.

We all have our opinions and that's what makes the world go 'round.

Happy shaving!

Can you share a knot photo? Really wonder how synthetic/badger mix looks like.
How is the knot?

Sure.  Here is a picture of the knot.  Have not used yet.  Very soft tips, nice backbone. [Image: F4r9uqI.jpg]

Rich Man calls S2 which is mixed Synthetic/Silvertip. It might lather faster than other badger knots.

Mojo handle looks pretty good. I cannot say anything about $300.
Since resin/wood handles from many artisans are expensive, double wood is even more expensive
and I haven't seen any mixed badger/synthetic knot.
The knot may be custom ordered from China. Might be more expensive than other knots.

Hope you will enjoy with your new brush. Smile
