Same here, just catch the remainder on the XTG and then, well it isn't ATG under the nose, but more like at 45 degrees. Nice shaver otherwise for when I want a break from the Henson.

Shave #3 with the Sentry was great. This was another two pass head shave and three pass face shave. This time, I used a Tatara blade. Again, the shave was smooth, comfortable, and "safe" feeling. This shave went a bit quicker since I was able to dial in the angle pretty quickly.

I haven't had any issues loading blades in this razor. It's comparable to other slants I've used. I hold the cap between my thumb and index finger, place the blade on the cap, use my other hand to press the blade down into the contours of the cap, hold the blade tabs in place with my thumb and index finger to prevent the blade from springing back up, and add the baseplate.

Stickshift is finishing up with the east coast razor so since that list is done, he'll ship it off to Lbkindy.

I have three shaves in and they have all been great. I'll get a fourth in and post some more thorough thoughts. I assume I will be sending it to TST27 so I will contact him for shipping info.

Package received.  I would post a pic, but I forgot phone at the office when I left this afternoon.

My time is done with the Sentry and it is sent off to TST27. I would like to thank andrewjs18 for organizing the passaround and Rex Supply Co for offering up the razors.

The fit and finish on the razor are great. I don't know if it's considered a machined finish, or more of a satin, but I love it. It's tough and easy to maintain while still presenting well. There are no rough edges and minimal machine marks. When done shaving, the razor can be wiped down with a towel and there is no worry of putting micro scratches in a polished finish.

Assembling the razor was a little tricky as others have mentioned. I found the best way was to push the blade carefully up onto the tabs, then hold the blade in place with your fingers sqeezing the sides of the topcap. Since the topcap is wider than the blade tabs, you need to squeeze fairly hard so it can be difficult. Once the baseplate is on, I would pinch the plates together and screw the handle on.

The shave was very good and I was able to get four solid shaves. Einar included a few Suneko Chinese blades so I was able to put it up against my usual gillette platinum. I was very impressed with them, and they shaved as good if not better than my benchmark blade. Blades aside, the razor is a smooth and efficient shaver. It was able to take down four days growth without issue, then follow up taking one days growth down comfortable and effectively. The razor was very safe and never felt like it was going to bite, but has enough blade feel so you know where you stand. I didn't have a problem getting under my nose, just needed to play with the angle a little bit. The overall size was nice, but I have smaller hands and the short handle did not bother me.

The few small quirks I had were the handle and the curved sides on the head. The grip of the handle is pheonominal in the sense of the razor sliding up or down through your hands, but it seemed to spin very easily while shaving making it hard for me to keep even pressure on some curved parts of my face. The head having rounded edges makes it a little dangerous to tighten incase your fingers slip off, and I usually set the razor on the side of it's head while relathering, which is difficult for obvious reasons when it's curved. I'm sure the space and weight saved head wise benefits far more than having flat head edges, or exposed blade tabs.

Nice shave today with the Sentry.  Not as mild as I generally prefer, but very smooth.  I don't think I would use it as a daily driver, but might use it on 2 or 3 days growth.  I like the way the razor looks and it is very well built.
