you're too new and don't have enough messages to be able to access and send your PM's right now.

May I join the pass around now?

Konsul is on its way to Einar george1906 already got a Konsul and is out of the passaround.

My shaves with the Rex Konsul has been enjoyable. I was able to use all of the settings but preferred setting 5 the most.

The blade exposure gap was even on both sides; probably the best slant razor I've used so far.

I did like the razor slightly looser than it's intended. Once I screwed in the bottom knob, I turned it about a quarter turn loose and that gave a more crisp and enjoyable feedback. The razor has muted feedback for me but an excellent shaver nonetheless.

Excellent first shave this morning.  I’m typically a daily shaver but wanted to test a couple days of growth.  I opened it up to a 6 on the first pass and was surprised how smooth this was.  It did not feel threatening at all and cleared away 48 hours of growth easily.  Subsequent passes were dialed down to a 4 & 3 and the end result was an easy BBS shave.  The finish with alum produced no stinging; could not ask for a better first shave.

Really looking forward to using this the rest of the week!

Really enjoyed my week with the Konsul.  Big thank you to Razor Emporium for the pass around.  Here are my thoughts:
  • Impressive build quality and knurling provided nice grip
  • Smooth shaver on all settings.  You can feel the blade on higher settings but remains super smooth throughout
  • I’m typically a daily shaver and prefer efficient mid aggressive razors…..this razor is right in my wheelhouse
  • A little awkward loading the blade compared to other razors….minor complaint here
  • Typically shaved on levels 3, 4 & 5 but found level 1 was perfect for my sensitive neck/Adam’s apple area
  • Easy 3 pass BBS throughout the week, never a hint of irritation or weepers
  • I can see myself purchasing this razor in the future

Once again thank you for the opportunity to participate in the pass around.  Razor has been sanitized and will be mailed out Monday to BBS

Posting to build post count so I can participate! I’ve rediscovered my Merkur 37C lately and want to give slants another go after spending some time with my Stirling DE honing my skills (where any mistake means quite the slice).
