I would contact Razor Emporium. I'm confident that they would take care of this issue for you.

I am. I wanted to rule out user error before reaching out to them. Their service is great.

I've noticed the same thing on my N2. When I first got the Rex, I was using it at the lower settings and didn't notice that it wasn't level, or I would have contacted RE then. I first noticed it when I went to the more aggressive settings, but it isn't really level even on the mid settings. At the least aggressive setting, it is forced to be level.

I doubt if it is enough to matter over most of the edge, but the high corners can be a little treacherous at the higher settings due to the rounded guard ends.

I have the same issue with mine. It can be evened out manually by pressing both sides of the base plate. I contacted him and he said that he had a bath of bad parts and to mail the razor back and he’ll repair it.

Checked mine and everything is A-OK. The last few posts made me nervous though.

This is going to be my next purchase. Timeless and Karve are my two dailys. Just need a little variety. Expensive but I'm saving my Canadian loonies.

Few time ago, I've tried the Rex Supply Co. Ambassador Adjustable Stainless Steel DE Razor by Razor Emporium.
Lots of people call this the best adjustable on the market at the moment.
And for sure It is a great shaver.

I've tested against my humble hero, the cheap frankenrazor PP1489 (Edwin Jagger DE89 on Maggard MR14 handle)
My opinion now is stronger about adjustable razors.
No, thanks.

An easy, no fuss shave delivered by the Rex yesterday. A beauty to hold and wield that is made to excellent tolerances. I've never had an issue with the Rex in terms of shave quality or blade fitment and just overall performance. Maybe I got lucky or it was just a simple progression of RE's dedication to getting some of the early issues and teething problems resolved with the subsequent production runs. Bottom line is, I love my Rex(s) and have nothing but praise for the razor and the manufacturer. Will it work for everyone? No but, honestly what does? Would I recommend it? Yes, in a New York minute. You do pay a premium for it but, you get a premium product that potentially will stand the test of time for generations to come. And hopefully those future generations will enjoy it just the same.....

Two question for you Rex Ambassador owners: 1. are you able to get alum burn free shaves out of the razor on a regular basis and 2. what blade do you prefer with this razor, especially at the higher (5-6) settings? Thanks in advance.

Getting alum burn free shaves and I use it daily. Blade of choice is a KAI blade.

To be very honest, I prefer mild razors and I use the Rex Ambassador on setting 1.
Anything higher than the lowest setting (#1) just doesn't work for me at this point.
