Mine arrived today, early. I rinsed it really good once I got it and loaded a blade. I did notice a slant like someone else mentioned, so I soaked it in water and dawn while I took a shower. I also turned the adjustment dial several time while it was under water. It looks pretty even now. I shaved on setting 4. That setting is more efficient than my Wolfman OC, but not as efficient as my Blackbird OC, so I’ll probably keep it on that setting most of the time.
I enjoyed using the razor. It provided a smooth shave and there is no way it is going to slip with that knurling. I also like the way it’s balanced with the hollow handle. There were a few cons as well. The handle is a little longer than I normally like. I would prefer about a 3 inch handle, but the handle isn’t long enough to be a deal breaker. I also would prefer it if the blade tabs were not covered. I think it makes it a little harder to get under the nose and I also had some trouble removing the blade.
I have only used it once so my opinions could change, but I like it so far. O of all the razors I’ve tried, this one was the easiest to find the angle on the first shave. I’m not sure if that is because of experience or if it’s just an easy razor to use.

Bad news...I'm at work today and don't even expect to leave here for another 4 hours
There will never be a better time to quit your job, do it and get the rex faster.

The Eagle has landed. This thing is every bit as beautiful and as much a piece of art as advertised. Mine has no loose burs, no issues and no reason for soaking or anything else. This is a good looking, well designed razor, and I’m really pleased. Nice work, Matt. My initial impression is that the REX is a winner!
