That razor is the only one that gives me pause.  It is super aggressive.  I know I've posted this before, but FF to the 5:15 mark.  If I used it that fast I would need a blood transfusion.  Watch  him buff his upper lip at the 9:40 mark.  Yikes.

Dude is fast, that's for sure. ASR recommended long "barber strokes" which is more how I use the MMOC. Shimmed. Fresh carbon blades, hand stropped. No issues ATG or otherwise even on the crown of my head which is way more tricky than other areas for me, and where a super mild razor like the Feather Weight fails (and is thus the only Gem/Ever Ready I don't much use).

It's all relative, I'd say. Yes, MMOC is on the aggressive side, but, to me, 2011 R41, ATT SE2, and even one of my Old Types are even more so. Plus, the more you use a given razor, the more familiar it becomes. As always, YMMV.

the MMOC is still the only razor to this day where I had to stop mid shave and switch to something else...it was stupid aggressive, on my skin.

MMOC is probably the only SE I'll keep. The Shovel Head is in the running, but I don't find it quite as smooth.

I just did some blade testing with mine, and the only blade that I like in it is the PTFE. The Carbon Blades or the plain Stainless blades just don't feel very good to me. They seem to tug a lot.

I rarely nick myself with my MMOC, but when I do, it's usually with my first pass of my first shave on a new GEM blade in my MMOC - never a fault of the razor itself, but carelessness on my part based on readjusting my muscle memory coming off another razor. After that initial shave, when I find my groove so to speak, I get nothing but great shaves out of my MMOC. While it is a tad more sensitive to proper technique than most, the MMOC is one of 3 razors in my collection (the other my Timeless and my Weck Surg Prep) that consistently give me fantastic long-lasting shaving results - very very efficient with a comfortable level of smoothness.

I did give the GEM SS PTFE blades a try this morning and for me, it made a world of difference. It is obvious the razor is still quite aggressive and I have a couple of small cuts, but nothing like the bloodshed of my first few tries ... and I'm guessing that boils down to my technique with the razor which will come with time. Otherwise, I have an exceptionally smooth shave!

I never had any issues with my MMOC.  Just use a PTFE blade and take your time.  Shave in a quiet environment where you can hear the audible feedback.  Use a light touch.  Watch your angle.  Use a good soap and make sure your lather stays well hydrated.
