I tried Proraso pre and after shave cream (one and the same) about eight months ago and again today to be fair to them.
Same results both times.
I don't like grease on my face and that is what it felt like.
It also succeeded in constantly clogging up my Rolls Razor. Something that has never happened before.
I am very fond of Proraso Shaving Soaps but this cream does nothing for me.
I don't really need any creams or medications as I have no problems.
So I will continue with my preferred simpleton's shaving protocol, shaving soap or croap or cream and an aftershave lotion.
Thththat's all fffolks. Nothing more.

I've also heard good things about Stirling Post-shave balms-They also have an unscented version that doesn't have any fragrance or essential oils that might set you off. I haven't used them so I can't say specifically but it's another option you can google up if you want.

Here are the ingredients: Distilled Water, Witch Hazel, Aloe, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Glycerin, Grapeseed Oil, Myristyl Myristate (Co-Emulsifier), Unrefined Shea Butter, Emulsifying Wax, Coconut Oil, Stearic Acid, Vitamine E, Optiphen, Allantoin.

Stirling post-shave balms are excellent, just like every other Stirling product I've used. I like the ingredients Stirling uses and the price which can't really be beat as far as I know, at least not for the quality you get. If you like Soap Commander balms then I'd say you'll like Stirling.

I have been using Nivea for years it great. I find that Target is the cheapest about $5.50.

I have Nivea Sensitive and it is a nice balm. I think I paid around $4 or $5 locally.

Another vote for trying Soap Commander's Integrity balm. I use it exclusively, in the menthol-free version. Great stuff!

Another +1 for Nivea.

I too have sensitive skin that react to a lot of soaps and balms. I have been using Nivea Sensitive ASB pretty much exclusively without any problems. One of the last areas for me to expand upon are after shaves and balms, and I have been pondering alternatives of late, so I thank you all for an informative thread with lots of interesting suggestions.

I love Stirling, but I also really like PAA Daily Driver.
For me, it is excellent.

Stirling is the balm I use the most out of any products I have.
