I tried a friends vintage 7/8 quarter hollow Wade&Butcher straight a while back and found it to have the perfect weighting and performance for my needs.
Interested in getting my own.

Looking for suggestions on a good 7/8 quarter hollow.

Never heard of them..very impressive work. I might consider one of these.

I also found Hart Steel. They are a US based custom straight manufacturer. Any feedback/comments on them?

Hart Steel makes overpriced razors. They're very vanilla for the price you pay.

You might want to contact Brian Brown - he makes excellent straights that are around the price of the Hart Steel and I think his blades are way better shavers than the Edsons and even Robert Williams, etc.
