It should have been advertised as a "sign-up" list, not a "notification" list.

aren't Wolfman SS razors around $230? that's $100 over the RR
CDN$230 Wolfman, CDN$167.85 Razorock so CDN$62.15 difference. I've got a RR Black Mamba, its nice but its not a wolfman, not even close but then the wolfman is 100% custom and the RR is not. When you compare, it really shows you what a bargain the Wolfman is. A credit to James for keeping his prices down in the face of incredible demand.

I think your math is off buddy, look at his website, head is $175, handle is $125 and bring of total of $300 CDN which equals US $232. Still no doubt Wolfman is a great razor and most likely I will get one but still like I mentioned before that's $100 US above the RR Slant price, none the less still great price for a razor made by an Machining artist like James!

My math is fine buddy - I bought mine last year and the price I quoted is straight off the paypal invoice. Seriously? I'm just pulling numbers out of the air because why? To clarify, I meant I paid $230 for my wolfman not what they are going for now. Assuming you can get one.

I did get an email, and I am fairly certain I was one of the first to sign up for notification.  If my guess is correct, I won't get an email when the next batch of Wunderbars is complete, and the next 100 people on the list will get emails.

Just a guess, but that's how I'd do it to avoid having my server crash, and keep things relatively fair to customers.

Forged is correct, our new notification system balances the notifications with the number we are putting in stock. If we are putting 100 razors in stock and 2000 people are waiting, there is no point notifying all 2000 people at once because 1900 people will get an email and there will be no stock. The notifications are sent in order received until the list is exhausted.

Italian Barber is no Wolfman indeed. Neither is Weber.

We are indeed no Wolfman. James is a full-time machinist that produces razors on a full-time basis. He produces awesome "custom" razors slowly. As someone else also mentioned, his razors are about $235 USD, our Wunderbar is $130 so there is a big difference in price. With James, you are paying for a lot of hand finishing which takes a lot of time and care, you are also paying for customization if you want it. I've spoken to James on the phone and he's a very nice guy, we shared some knowledge and I love what he is doing. I'm not trying to be James and I don't think he is trying to be RazoRock.

We are trying hard to build the best quality razor we can, to a certain price-point. I personally think the quality and build of the Wunderbar far exceeds it's retail price. I also believe James' razors are worth more than $300 CAD but there is only so much people will pay... you have to balance pricing, quality and demand. It's possible to produce a Rolex quality razor but it wouldn't be $300 CAD, I'm sure James will tell you that, it would 3 or 4 times the price.

Just as a side note, a few people told me their notification went into their spam folder.

Yes, Instagram is my favorite social media platform, I'm a visual person and I like it the best, I also use it the most.

Like I mentioned in the Wunderbar description, this is a production razor, we will continue to produce it until all the demand is met... so everyone that wants one, will get one. I wish I could produce a few thousand right away but it's just not possible, it takes a super skilled machinist with a special machine and this machinist has other jobs and clients too. I think you can see this from Wolfman too, I don't think he's taken orders for almost a year now, machined razors can't just be pumped out... they take major time and skill, unless someone is will to spend a few million dollars on half a dozen machines.

Hi Joe, I have to be honest I was also quite annoyed to see it out of stock, but I do understand you could only make so much. In that regard, when would the new batch arrive? I hope all the razors would be the same quality, the only thing bothering me right now if there would be variations in the batches. Another way for vultures to take advantage of.

3-4 weeks is what I'm told.

I don't see any variation in quality because we have a process. It should be the same, I don't plan on changing anything unless a large amount of feedback warrants it.
