The Torsionshobel slant: $19.99
The Wunderbar slant: $130.00.

I hope to eventually get both of these razors and then do a side by side shave test to see if you really do get what you pay for.

I already have the Merkur 37c, so I'm not really too much into the Torsionshobel? I am under the impression that this was RR's inexpensive version of the Merkur slant.

The Wunderbar though.. hmm I'd like one but. sigh.

If you’re able to do this, Mark, I’m sure there would be many interested readers. Michael Ham did this some time ago with some other slants that were fairly new at the time, and it was a good read, indeed.

Also the Wunderbar is going to be a regular production item. However only 100 razor a month are going to be made.

Yep. Anybody who wants one, will have a shot at grabbing one. Or more for that matter.

I also like the value razors coming out of IB and will pick up the Torsionshobel when it hits to check it out. Always on the prowl for a good gift type low cost, high performance razor.

The German 37 Slant is a zinc alloy head on a brass handle. Is Zinc Alloy the same as Zamak?

Colloquially, yes, but technically not necessarily. There are two families of zinc alloys: ZA and Zamak. ZA has a higher aluminum content. Zamak is more common.

I just ordered my RazoRok German 37 the other day and then threw in the ikon X3 head for good measure lol

I'll be using the Bamboo handle that's on my Fatip Grande for the X3.
