I have. My own experience is that both the Lupo .75/.95 have more blade feel and significantly more efficiency than the GC .84. I like both. If you like the Rockwell plate 5 my guess is that you will prefer the GC .84 over the Lupos.

Haven't used my .84 game changer in awhile as it just came back from being on loan. Plate 5 is my go too and I find the .95 perfect and if I remember correctly I definitely prefer it over the game changer any gap. Maybe others will chime in but that's my feelings.

Edit, well looks like Ali and I didn't help you at all Big Grin

Dave in KY did you find the Lupo 95 to have much more blade feel than both the Rockwell Plate 5 and GC 84? I definitely did. This may be one thing for Bob H to consider.

More blade feel than the plate 5 yes but still enjoyable shave for me and I assume would be for him too as we have the same daily plate for the 6s. Guess it's been too long since using the .84 but my memory says the .95 was as smooth and more efficient than it but just by my memory. Not trying to muddy the waters but that was my take. Happy2

I’m a big fan of the GC84. I have found both the L72 and L95 to be more efficient than the GC84, but unfortunately the efficiency comes at the expense of comfort, for me. I get much more blade feel from the L72/L95, and I also experienced something with the L95 in particular that I haven’t experienced in some time....weepers! I also felt some slight soreness post-shave that even made my next shave (24 hours later) less comfortable than normal.

I thought this might be a fluke, or perhaps a blade issue, but I’ve now used the L95 three times and my experience continues to be the same, unfortunately. I switched back to one of my go-to razors this morning, the Timeless Ti .95 SB, and was reminded what an ideal combination of efficiency AND smoothness feels like from a superb shaver. My WR2 1.15 & 1.25 also reliably deliver that ideal smoothness/efficiency combo for me on a regular basis. The GC84, while not quite as efficient as the Timeless or WR’s, also works well for me. I will probably stick with the L72 for a few more shaves to see if it could have a place in my rotation, but I’ve concluded that the L95 is not a fit for me. I suspect that the excessive blade feel is the main issue.

I hope this may be helpful to some considering the new Lupos.

Great two pass shave with minor touch up using a Tatara platinum blade and of course the Lupo .95  The blade feel as expected very noticeable but smooth and close. The DLC stainless steel handle has an exceptional grip. The whole experience was wonderful. You can't beat this razor cost wise. An extreme bargain in today's overpriced stainless steel and titanium razors.

I’m curious which SS and Ti razors you feel are overpriced?
