Odd comparison request, but I'll ask anyway: anyone here own both the new Ti Blackbird and the .72 Lupo? If so, can you please comment on comparative BLADE FEEL; which has more blade feel, in your opinion?

I can revert on this tonight... planning to use the 72 for first time tonight

Shavemd also has both - would be curious to get his take as well

I have both. The Bird has much more noticeable blade feel. Even more so than the .95. The .72 somewhat reminds me of charcoal goods lvl 2

Just used the DC .72OC/.95SB Lupo and both sides had less blade feel as compared to my BB Ti.  The BB Ti is very smooth, however, smoother than any BB I have owned.

JoeLr just finish shaving and can concur with my friends Shavemd and Whisker_whacker  - Ti BB has more blade feel than both the Lupo 72 and 95 in my opinion as well.

In my experience, I have only shaved with 2 razors that for me can rival the blade feel of the Blackbird. Those would be the H&S po76 and the Charcoal Goods level 3. Both great razors in their own right.

You can add Sailor 2020 and Wolfman WR2 1.55 to your list

Thanks. So I hear... I hope to try those two excellent razors some day...

I used the Lupo DC paired with Razorock Ti 90 mm halo handle for a nicer/preferred balance and I was very impressed. Although I prefer SB guards I have several DC razors and use the OC on the first WTG pass and then the SB on the second ATG pass with touch ups as needed.

Overall the Lupo DC was smooth with minimal blade feel yet very efficient. Only the Timeless OC has smoother and more tolerable (wider) OC teeth IMO.

The Lupo DC reminds me of the RR Mamba in smoothness but it cuts much more efficiently (as I recall the Mamba was so mild it lead to the GameChangers). The Lupo DC was smoother than Wolfman WR1 86 but nearly as efficient as a WR1 86. However because it’s (Lupo) smoother it gives a more comfortable shave than a Wolfman 86.

Had a decent shave with the lupo this morning. Mammoth "mood indigo" was the soap of choice. Wow! Loading this soap was interesting. It had an extremely stringy melted marshmallow like texture before I started adding water. First pass with the OC, second pass with the SB. Ended up with an alright shave. No irritation, but 3 weepers which is odd for me. Shave wasn't as close as the first time. Still a smooth shave nonetheless. Going to try a different blade next shave and see how it goes.

Has anyone compared the Lupo .72/.95 to the Gamechanger .84 I am on the fence on this one. My go to razor is my Rockwell with plate 5. Thanks for any input!
