Here's my review of the Game Changer:

I have a moderately tough beard; my daily drivers are the Black Mamba and the Wunderbar with a PolSilver Blade. It always takes me 3 passes and some touch up to get a Baby Butt Smooth shave with any razor I have tried.

I’m a shower shaver and I shave fast once I get prepped.  I make a mess; hence, shaving in the shower (also the steam helps soften my beard).

I find the regular Mamba and the Baby Smooth too mild for me as daily drivers; although I enjoy using them on occasion.

When I get a new razor I always throw a new Feather Blade in it and give it a test run.  Feathers are normally too sharp for me, so it lets me figure out really quick if a razor is going to bite me or irritate my skin. I know it’s weird (the guy likes PolSilvers), but it’s just something I do to zero in on the feel of the razor before I try my favorite blade.

I had about 3 days growth, perfect for a DFS.   First pass, WTG, and I could have stopped right there for a CCS/SAS; then I hit an XTG and had a DFS; an ATG pass with my usual touch ups and I had my BBS.  This is with a Feather, going fast.  I have little if any irritation.   No nicks, cuts, or weepers.

Did the same thing a couple days later with a PolSilver and got a great BBS again with little if any irritation and no weepers.

There was no searching around for the ideal blade angle, it just fell naturally where I needed it.

In my opinion, the Game Changer is slightly more aggressive than the regular Mamba; and less aggressive than the Black Mamba.  But, it really shines in that it is more efficient, without being irritating, it just lops off the whiskers.

As far as comparing it to the Wunderbar, it’s almost  as efficient as the Wunderbar - just a world different since it’s not a slant.

I am very impressed with the Game Changer.

I hope Joe makes a full production run like he did with the Mamba.  I’d like to get a couple!

Thanks for the review and the update, I can’t wait to get my hands on one when they’re available!

Joe, can we get an update on when they might be added to the site?

Thanks for the review. I checked out the Italian Barber web page for this razor today. Looks pretty nice and watched the embedded video on their site.

How much bend is there in the blade in the Gamechanger. Is it relatively flat like the BBS-1 or does the razor bend the blade?

it does put a bit of bend in the blade. There is a side profile pic on page 10 where you can see the blade in the head.

Gentlemen,
just curious if anyone who has had the chance to try out the gamechanger head can compare it similarly to other popular razors ?
I read in an earlier post it was equivalent to a rockwell 6s on plate 6, is this a fairly accurate comparison?

Just found out directly from Joe at Razorback that the release date will be end of April and they are shooting toward at least 1000 units for availability due to the interest and demand that they are seeing.

Is the RazoRock Game Changer head still making its way through the list for the passaround? I would love to hear more impressions of this razor head as it makes it's rounds
