I have a 17-4 and it's a great shaver for sure, second only to my .86 gap Wolfman but for the $49.99 RazoRock will be asking for the Game Changer, of course I'll buy at least one.

To each his own but for me, razors are like pocket knives or watches and I like to switch things up based on my mood.

I want to encourage and support Italian Barber in their offerings so as to ensure they continue to offer great products at very reasonable prices.

(Disclaimer: I also have chronic RAD and my answer to anyone asking whether they should buy this razor or that razor is always, "Yes.")

You are right, I just forgot my RAD for a sec. there. I'll be buying it too.

RazoRock Game Changer
GSB(2)
Blackship Grooming "Wassail"
Yaqi Mysterious Space (24mm Silvertip, Frigate Class)

Second shave with the GC was as good as the first. Normally I don't shave every day, but I want to get in as many shaves with this razor as I can before I have to send it on. Since I only had one days worth of stubble I went with a 2 pass XTG & ATG shave. The shave was very smooth and irritation free and I ended up with a nice DFS.

Are you able to compare it to a similar Rockwell base plate or an adjustable vintage Gillette (Fatboy/Slim)?

I would say that the blade feel is somewhat like a fatboy on 6. Though the shaving angle is more intuitive which results in better efficency.

RazoRock Game Changer
GSB(3)
Italian Barber Amici
Maseto Shaving Classic (30mm Finest Fan, Cruiser Class)

This morning I had my last shave with the Game Changer before sending it off to the next person in the passarround. I knew after the first shave that I would be buying one and this shave confirms it. 3 passes, BBS, no touchups. Once I get one of these in the den it will probably be my #1 modern razor, dethroning the Baby Smooth.

I would love to get on the pass around, but the time it will get to me the razor will be ready to purchase. So keep up the reviews and I am getting excited once it releases.

Been a patron of Joe's since July 2017 when I began wetshaving.

Italian Barber has been terrific with service, support and communication.

I for one am anxiously awaiting the release, and look forward to support IB/RR.

Joe promised me three GC razors, so I'm holding him to it come release day! Wink

Gents,
I just wanted to say thank you for the reviews so far, they have been great and the feedback has been very helpful.
I think going forward, we may do this more often with DFS... a really great community of wet shavers here.
Thanks to Andrew and the mod team for allowing this to happen.
Cheers, Joe
