IB has a razor scale now right off their main page.. but the BBS line has expanded too.. There are now 4 versions. BBS-Standard, OC, A and AS. I have them all and am in the process of reviewing them.. check out my YouTube channel.

Hey bobmsp

I've put together a series of video reviews on YouTube for the BBS and all the new plates (OC, A and AS). I'm currently in the process of doing head 2 head videos. I'll comparing the BBS-A against the Lupo 72 in an upcoming video.

I'm thinking of buying the BBS... which of the Standard, A, or AS is your favorite plate? Thanks!

Confused2 I would not trust it.

They show the SLOC (3/5) as being more aggressive than their Old Type (2/5), but I'd say it was the other way around.

If what they're calling a "Hawk Aluminum" on the chart is the "Hawk V2", I'd put it more at 4/5 or 5/5 instead of 2/5.

Yep...still have the BBS-A. Love it, it is still in my rotation and not lost and forgotten here. Funny how we all love to search for these new artisan goldilocks razors and soaps. Guess I have always been a K.I.S.S (keep it shave simple) nut.

RazoRock Scale...
One thing that is interesting to me on the chart is SLOC aggressive level.
They have it @ 16! Really? I beg to diff..
Now I have a few SLOC's (zamaks) and I also have the rare SLOC V2 ( aluminum head).

By large, I think there scale is fairly accurate.
Though they certainly need to update this puppy.
I don't see the new SuperSlant listed with all it plates.
Nor do I see the BBS-A ( I have) and the BBS- AS.
Plus I am a big RazorRock loyalist....
Cheers
BFX
have a great one....
