Razorock 24mm HMW Users

I was looking for anyone who has any comments on the 24mmx57mm HMW brush. Looking for thoughts on density, backbone vs flop, softness, gel tips, glue bump, release/flow though.

I just bought that exact brush. I've used it twice on my face. It was kind of stinky when it arrived. I made several lathers with it to break it in. It is a very dense knot. The handle is quite substantial and heavy. The tips were not as soft when dry as I was expecting, however, it makes an excellent think lather and feels very nice when lathered up. It is medium stiff. Neither floppy or stiff. I can not feel a glue bump. I paints on a very think lather, and holds the heat well. I still haven't formed a solid opinion on it yet because I think I"m still in a break-in period.

Are you still interested in the RR HMW brush? I have the one you linked to. I'm considering listing it for sale because I've determined it's simply too large for my smallish face. It's an excellent brush, but just too big for me. I've only used it 7 times.

Are you still interested in the RR HMW brush? I have the one you linked to. I'm considering listing it for sale because I've determined it's simply too large for my smallish face. It's an excellent brush, but just too big for me. I've only used it 7 times.

The tips are pretty soft, and this brush is definitely more floppy than backboney. It's a fairly densely packed knot, but the 57mm loft creates the floppiness.

That would be something I'm used to and prefer. If you want to take a few pictures of the knot and the tips, I think that would be great for the thread. I am curious as too how well the hair is sorted and what the tips look like formed together, whether they have the honeycomb effect and gel up.

It looks like it has some pretty soft tips. I'm sure they feel gel like. Why don't you break the handle and lower the loft if you want something with more backbone and less splay?
