Rasoio Masamune Nodachi

I now have 5 shaves with the Nodachi. It is not as smooth as my Ti RS10 with aggressive plate but close. It is as smooth as my Timeless Ti .68 OC and is more efficient. I have heard others say it couldn’t be their daily driver, but I have now used it 5 days in a row without any issues and each shave was a BBS usually lasting a good 12 hours. I was skeptical about this razor but based on Kevy saying it was the smoothest razor he had used I had to try it, I’m glad I did it is a very maneuverable razor with a compact head that gives excellent shaves.

Would you say it shaves closer than the RS10 aggressive plate?

I have the latter and if there is no substantive difference between the two I would just as soon just use my RS10.

I would say the Nodachi is slightly more efficient than the RS10 aggr plate but not by enough that I would recommend it over the RS10

My Nodachi arrived today and I am looking forward to giving it a try tomorrow morning.

First shave with the Nodachi this morning. I have the Tatara Masamune SB and OC as well. I found the Nodachi to be more efficient and smoother than the Masamune OC. I have been very pleased with all the Tatara razors thus far. I am looking forward to using the Nodachi more and will update my opinions.
