Mine just arrived a couple of hours ago, and I haven’t had a chance to shave with it yet. But just the scent out of the container is supremely pleasant! (As in I want to go and sniff it right now.)
Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

Okay, after further sniffing of the Pure₂O DFS soap (still, mind you, no shave), I have come to the conclusion that the scent is very similar to RazoRock’s Mudder Focker. Has anyone else noticed that, or am I just imagining things?
Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

I'll have to test that theory Matsilainen as I have both of those soaps too. My Pure2O was delivered today. I'll report back shortly.

Matsilainen, you are absolutely correct. They smell the same. The Pure2O is richer/bolder though. I'm glad Marco upped the scent strength from the sample batch. I think you'll find the performance to be quite a bit better than MF. It's a really good soap! I now know the perfect aftershave to pair with it. I'll have to grab some MF splash with my next order from Italian Barber.

And yes, I find that Pure₂O is slightly “brighter,” if that makes sense. But very similar to Mudder Focker, which I much enjoy. Can’t wait to actually shave with Pure₂O!And yes, now we know which aftershave goes well with the DFS edition. However, I do wish the Mudder Focker splash had just a little more oomph to it — it is such a great scent, that I wish the strength/longevity of the splash were upped somewhat.

Same here. The Vetiver also gave me some kind of allergic reaction (some kind of tingling by the end of the shave). The DFS smells better, performs just as well, and it does not give me an adverse reaction. What's not to like?
