By the way, why are you concerned about shooting yourself in the foot? I don't understand.

Because I suspect that he would want to order a brush this weekend. By letting everyone know that they are going to be available he'll have some more competition in getting one.

But at the same time, I want everyone else to have a fair shot on trying these amazing brushes.

My favorite thing about Paladin is the consistency of their knots. I know Ken obsesses over every aspect and knot selection is one of those things that he has no 'direct' control over and as such more than a few knots that comes thru his shop goes into the bin and never makes it into a handle...

....They've been burned too many times by knot suppliers and are left "holding the bag" one of many reasons why production is slower than we'd like to see.

They said they will announce on twitter and before that they will shut down the site. So only way is to turn on notification for their twitter feed.

I'd be happy to post notice of releases on this site, but I haven't created a merchant thread, and I'm not sure it would be appropriate to do here in the Brushes Forum. We use our Twitter and Facebook pages to alert those who follow us of updates on the site. Unfortunately, the FeedBurner subscripton feature on Shopify doesn't work for most, including us (since Google discontinued support).

It will only take a few hours to upload the photos, during which the site will be down. We'll post an update with date and time on the day before the launch. We don't do it this way to create suspense. It's just how it works out for us.

If someone on the admin/mod team wants to send me an email and offer guidance, that would be great. We really aren't out to advertise, but we also don't want to leave members here in the dark.
