A hopefully fun stone ,stropping compounds lapping films etc thread.

Stones above are.
Green stone is a Chosera/Naniwa Professional series 1,000 grit.
Other green stone is a Wakasa Japanese natural.
Large DMT8C plate.
One Extra Fine dmt card for slurry.
One dmt 325 card for initial slurry.

I haven't seen the DMT cards before. I'll have to look around for one. I usually use my DMT325 for slurry but I like the idea of the small cards. Perhaps a small handle could be glued or soldered onto the back of it.

[Image: ee522bfe3320323c46dbfb9b235bc12d.jpg] A ebay rehone tonight. An old Jordan 5/8th's plus needed rust honed past. This was the order.
Taped the spine,DMT8C to remove the chips and rotten metal. Tape removed for the Naniwa Professional series 1,000 grit ( green synthetic) then to the Shapton professional series 5k ( pink box) next the little DMT 45 micron card to raise a heavy slurry on the green Wakasa (jnat) . Finished out on a slurry from the DMT 9 micron card on the Wakasa koppa.
