I spend a lot of time in my car for work and have been listening to various Podcasts lately. Obviously, for this forum, a good wet-shaving podcast is Brush-n-Soap-n-Blade.

But for the past month or so, I've spent most of my podcasting listening to "Crime in Sports". It's a great podcast put on by two comedians. Each episode they select an athlete and detail his/her career and crimes. Because they are comedians, they spend most their time ripping on the athlete and detailing how much of a scumbag they turned out to be. WARNING: there is excessive language in every episode...again, they are comedians. Plus, some of the crimes are really horrific.

Because I have binged on Crime in Sports, I'm nearly caught up with all the episodes. I would love to hear suggestions for other interesting podcasts.

It sounds like Last Podcast on the Left would be up your alley. Three hilarious comedian hosts covering mostly horrendously brutal crime and also some random dumb stuff (aliens, ghosts, etc). Very well researched and absolutely hilarious. Usually in the top 3 comedy podcasts on iTunes.

I listen to podcasts approximately 8-10 hours a day while I work so let me know if you’d like more suggestions. Topics ranging from true crime to investments, history, educational, business, etc.

Thanks Shane! I've saved Last Podcast on the Left and look forward to listening to it while I'm on the road tomorrow. I have an Android so I'm using the Stitcher App instead of iTunes. Unfortunately, the first 33 episodes are not loading.

I'm relatively new to Podcasts as I had always enjoyed listening to music more...and then I found music podcasts Smile But I've been enjoying the story-telling podcasts. I get enough of "real" life all other times, it's nice to relax and be entertained every now and then.

Hardcore history with Dan Carlin (sp?) was one of my favorites.

I used to also like Mark Marin (sp?) as well.

It's been a while since I've listened to a podcast but I'm due and will be watching this thread for suggestions.

I concur on the Dan Carlin podcasts, both Hardcore History and Common Sense. I also like the Art of Manliness podcasts. I'll have to check out Crime in Sports,

Thanks,

One of me favorite podcasts is "Stuff You Should Know". It is hosted by two guys that take a single topic and do an overview of it. Each episode is a different topic. The subject matters can vary widely. I've heard everything from the story of lizzie Borden to how meals on wheels work.

SYSK is probably my longtime favorite podcast. Josh and Chuck are amazing.

I need to check out Crime in Sports. Sounds right up my alley. If you like that, then you might check out Dumb People Town or The View from the Cheap Seats, both hosted by the Sklar brothers. I am a huge fan of the Sklars and their combination of comedy and sports, which is why Crime in Sports sounded like my kind of podcast.
