I love my Black Star. I'm not sure if it's the soap or the tribute to David Bowie I like better, but it doesn't matter. By the way, listeners at the radio station where I work voted Bowie's Black Star the #1 album of 2016...

Kerry I have noticed what appears to be crystallization of some sort in my tub of P&B unscented. It's immediately noticeable to the eye and to the touch in the tub when dry and when lathered it seems to not be present on the face with the exception of a few crystals here and there. Is this common and if so what is it? Thanks

I’ve noticed something like this in my jar of Star Noir — a few pockets of tiny granules within the otherwise consistent soap. They haven’t affected the lathers so far, but I’ve also been a little curious about their existence.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

Hi chaps,

That sounds very curious, do you have a picture you could share, please?

Many thanks,

Kerry.

Her is a picture Kerry. You can see all of the crystals across the top of the soap and along the edge of the soap. They are fine and feel like sugar or sand but are very noticeable to the touch and to the eye.
