Energizer, who owns the Personna Blades, are looking to get out of the business, see article here which indicates -

'Energizer hopes to cut back on blade production or completely sell the personal care portion of the business by the end of fiscal 2016'

If they cannot sell they might shut it down ...

Is this a popular blade?

Personna makes several blades, many of which are highly regarded. I would hate to see production of those blades cease.

yeah, that's unfortunate to see. I wonder if they'll still produce the med preps.

That's the pits! That would mean the best SE blade made today (IMO) would also be gone. I need to buy another lifetime supply of Med Preps and GEM SE SS ptfe blades.

I'm hoping someone buys the company and keeps production going.

I didn't know they made the GEM blades. if that's so, I shall buy a few boxes then for when I get back to shaving. I recently sold almost an entire box. Confused

That would be the best option Freddie, but I never intend to go back to other methods of shaving.

It's the shavepocalypse.

It isn't that, Brian, but it seems every time we find a blade that is exceptional, one way or the other it's taken off the market. Sad

That is unfortunate as the Lab Blues are some of my top performing blades. Hopefully someone will be able to buy that portion of their busines..
