I suspect that this is a matter of opinion as I own Wolfman and H&S razors and the Paradigm Ti-2 beats both of these brands. The Paradigm Ti-2 is a smooth and highly efficient razor for me. Plus, it is a beautifully crafted razor, especially the first release that has the tapered handle, like the Ti-1 (which I also own). I admire and hope that Paradigm Shaveware has future razor releases as their head/blade geometry suits my shaving style and beard quite well.

Thankfully, I am not a collector, but do have a serious collection of what are now considered rare razors that are all to be passed on to my son when I can no longer shave with the caveat that they are not sold and are only to be passed to other family members. He likes my straight razor collection the best. He doesn't even know I have razors like a first batch LASSCo BBS-1 tucked away for him.

Well said  Happy2 I have to admit Paradigm Ti-2, Ti-V1 such a smooth shavers I my experience which I will pass down to my son and I really admire them very much!! Besides BBS-1 which is also another smooth shaver and I have joy to shave with…

Again YMMV but I personally really like Paradigms as my father had then before he passed away and now I know why he had them as he had sensitive skin and they are smooth shavers!!

Being how this vendor is defunct, feel at liberty to post frankly that would not regarding an artisan yet in production.  Hopefully will not offend the Mods nor violate forum decorum.

Have owned multples of every Paradigm excepting the SE, in each case hoping that upon repurchasing would find they weren't as middlin' shavers as previous experience indicated. In each case the hype of posts just didn't meet up with reality.

Well and truly glad others like them but am not a collector thus having no interest in exchange value; purchase what works for me.

In the case of Paradigm they were of middling manufacturing quality at their original premium retail price, way too high stack height, harsh shaving for the efficiency delivered and just not special beyond the limited production runs. However, will stipulate finding the Art Deco handles winsome - perhaps he should relaunch as a specialist focusing on handles (under the proviso he contract a competent machine shop with quality polishing skills). Unfortunately, the Paradigm razors were not purchased for the handles resulting in disappointment that was only resolved with their liquidation.

My suspicion is like a few other defunct razor artisans, Paradigm products are only valuable in their scarcity, possessing nothing to offer excepting exclusivity as with a number of hideous 'collector cars' that were reviled in their day as rubbish but now highly coveted.

The market changes too quickly. A few years ago, trading Paradigm Ti for Wolfman Ti was challenging.
Now, one Paradigm Ti is even not covered by two Wolfman Ti.

I simply do not share your sentiment. The Ti 1 is still my favorite DE, which is the closest to shaving with a straight razor in face feel and shaving ability. My Ti 2 never fails to yield a perfect shave and shave satisfaction. Paradigm's SE still ranks the best of my SE razors. None of my Paradigm razors were purchased above initial retail pricing. All of my Paradigm razors are machined to perfection except my Diamondback (2nd run), which is not to the same level as my other Paradigm razors. I suspect that initial retail pricing was also set with consideration of the third party vendor profit who introduced Paradigm to the shaving world. I have no intention of ever selling any of my Paradigm razors, as they are among my favorite razors—not for their prices paid or present asking prices, but for their shaving abilities.

Also, I have respect for most razor artisans, since I have never undertaken designing and manufacturing a razor of my own, so I yield constructive criticism of their razors with that in mind. The artisans' of my straight razor collection have my utmost respect for their craftsmanship and abilities.

I am not advocating nor am I interested in purchasing the Ti 2 on eBay. It is my hopes that Paradigm continues to produce future razors and is not defunct because I will purchase each new model released.

My Paradigms I payed way over the price that’s because in name of my father who passed away and wanted to have in memory in my Den and they are best shavers among BBS-1 it’s simply my go to I can grab it and knowing it would be just smooth shave without irritation etc…

But when it comes to pricing I knew I have to bite the bullet and dish out knowing it it’s for a good cause and would never part with it regardles I be in this hobby or not Period!!!

Surely if I can help folks to find one at decent price yes but chances of that happening are slim!!

To me personally I really appreciate what Andy have done from Paradigm as razors I don’t know whole history etc…about Andy or what he have done it’s none of my business nor simply I care!!

I’m here to enjoy this hobby and do best we can help each other to extent with mutual respect!

I remember reading that Andy the Paradigm guy is planning another release.
So perhaps not defunct as of now.

I have followed your situation, and I am glad you were able to rekindle what you had lost. Had I not been saving mine for my son, I would have sold you mine given your situation. I have been fortunate with members of the shaving community as there was a razor that I wish I had purchased long ago, and another member kindly sold me his at a significantly reduced price from the razor's initial price out of the goodness of their heart, although I was willing to pay him more. In fact, there are a handful of shaving community members that I privately buy from, and they are always the perfect gentlemen about all matters and I try to return all dealings in kind.

Thank you very much I truly appreciate it from bottom of my heart and of course I respect every one’s decision and their collection..

Now I did pay hefty price I mean hefty but that being said this stays for good the amount of money I tossed and my time to be sent to Swizerland to br electro polished then hand finished this cost seroius money that not many folks would do…but I went that route anyways all out my pocket.

And lastly I’m greatful to all folks here who helped me and off DFS as well.

I have now only few razors dear to my heart..not “quantity” or sitting queen on shelf that I cannot use and deny my self it’s a good razor but shave is not the “greatest” but again everyone is different have different views and that’s fine with me I always “Reserve my Judgment” regardles..
