I received my Paradigm SE a couple of days ago and I have tried the Schick Proline in it.  Good shave.  Wondering how you like the Feather Pro in it? By the way - excellent picture.

Andy jotted down some of his thoughts on the design of the SE Razor

Thanks! Andy recommended the Feather Pro and it was a very smooth shave. 2.5 pass BBS with very little blade feel. I went out of town over the weekend so I just got to shave with this one today. I shaved with the Blackland Vector late last week and I am realizing that these are 2 totally different beasts! I will shave with both next time on either side of the face. I really like both but I like the small size head of the Vector better for my use and I can use a Feather Pro Super in that one. I am going to try a Schick Proline in the Paradigm next time I use it. I am going to compare the two in the way I compare luxury cars. The Vector is like an Audi and the Paradigm is like a Mercedes. I own an Audi and my Father owns a Mercedes. I love the feel of driving the Audi more than the Mercedes because I can feel the road more. Neither is better than the other, just a different feel of the face. I will be able to give a more preferential review with more shaves. The Vector is like my A7 and the Paradigm is like my Dad’s S-Class.

Hey Andy,
I have been wet shaving for almost 20 years now and tried most of the razors on the market. Those Feather AC blades were always harsh on me. I tried Paradigm SE today and it was effortless BBS shave without any irritation and you tamed down the blade in such a way that it feels like shaving with Cart razor in a good way that you don’t need to know any technique. It just works and I like the products that JUST work.

Only problem with all your razor is you produce them in limited quantity and once they are gone, they are gone. Please work on few razors (DE and SE) that are always available for purchase.

Great job on this SE.

LOL neither Shane nor I have anything to complain about with that! It's actually a good analogy. FWIW, most AC razors are quite aggressive. It was my intention to chill the shave out while still providing great efficiency and plowing down the stubble. I've mentioned it before, but the key to getting the closest possible shave from the Paradigm is to take it very directly against the grain. I know of no other razor which provides the same combo of gentleness and efficiency.

Can anyone who has used this razor compare its efficiency to particular DE razors? I'm trying to get an idea of what it could be compared to. Thanks.

If you like mild DE then it’s as efficient as Feather ASD2 and if you like aggressive razor it’s as efficient as R41. Order it while you can and you won’t regret.

Going forward, we have changed our production so a new razor pops out each cycle. In the past, we had to finish an entire run before one razor was available. So there should be some continuous supply.

As for the SE, I've got stock, but I don't know how long that will last. 30 day "no questions asked" refund guarantee, provided the razor is in good condition, and free shipping. Check one out, see if you like it.
