I borrowed an ATT SE1, I'll report on Sunday. Anyone wants to lend me a mongoose or other SE razors to compare Smile

Thank You. That helps me gain a better comparison. If I lived closer I’d let you borrow all of mine, but I have 2 shaving items floating around USPS somewhere already.

The other tester of the prototype posted on TSN, problem is this is his first SE so unable to make any comparison as far as smoothness, efficiency to other SE’s. That leaves only Mohammad to give us any real comparison to help us understand where the SE stands. For the DE paradigms, most compared it to razors most of us had used to let us know where it would fall for us.

Anyone live near Mohammad who can let him borrow a mongoose? Also a comparison to a cobra may help some people out but I’ve never tried that one.

I loaned him my ATT SE1 so he should be able to compare to that soon.

I know Mohammad also used to own an Ikon MR SE. I know because I bought it from him.

I didn’t want to add anything until Mohammad had agreed to it, but I currently have one shave under my belt with the new prototype.

Realistically it’s too soon to have much of an opinion. I know that’s not very informative, or catchy, but I will certainly share my thoughts as I have a few more days to get acquainted with this razor.

Preliminary thoughts - crazy smooth. Feels like a paradigm razor. More aggressive than a Ti2 but perhaps a hair less than 17-4 but again...too soon to give my opinion Much credence. Thanks! I promise I’ll check in every day after I shave with it.

thanks to Kehole for lending his Paradigm Ti II. Today was the first time I used it. What a jewel! Sadly I think it is too mild for me. I love my 17-4. I find The SE to be more aggressive than the 17-4. It has it's own type of smoothness. The SE razor has a really wonderful sharpness which I find distinctive from other SE razors I tried, I'll elaborate on that at some point.

I’ll write more later tonight, but shave 2 was fantastic! I’ve never liked feather pro blades, but this razor makes them shine! I imagine it’s going to be spectacular with a schick proline. Will do one more shave with the feather and then switch to the kamisori for the last 3 shaves before I return it to Mohammad.

I wanted to wait for Kehole to post his thoughts. I felt the same way about the Feather blade. It was shockingly nice. Today I received KAI Captain Titan Mild, I'll try those first thing next Saturday.
