I asked Andy to do a bright brushed finish on mine and it came out stunning. I also bought the last original Javelin handle from him. I think everyone is getting their shipping notices slowly now. I think in the future, I will stick to just buying a few soaps and a few accessories from WCS. No more razors from them for me.

Hope this frustrating process does not mean he just stops making this razor and just moves to the next one. Wonder what was so bad about the initial output from the machinist?

was probably unfit for sale....I imagine if he met the deadline and sent the poorly finished razors, the outcry and consequences would be far worse.

Sure, but typically the manufacturer will send across a sample or samples to verify. Then proceed with manufacturing against those specs. Odd that an entire batch would be so terrible.
