I’m dealing/experimenting with angles of attack on what potentially gives me the overall better results without skipping on comfort and ease of use while keeping the closeness of shave to my standards/needs. Previous 2 shaves have produced 9-10 hours of whisker free growth, more than enough for an 8 hour work day, for me at least. So far, it has met expectations on a small sampling and I see it only getting better with use with minor adjustments in technique for optimal performance. Just like the Ti, this is a real good razor.
Great shaves to all…

Compared to Ti DB, other than the obvious… weight/ manoeuvrability, do you find any major differences when using the Copper DB?
In terms of shave experience and end result?
Thanks.
The weight is the biggest contributing factor and there’s just no way of discounting that. The extra weight transitions to a more classical shave style approach where one allows the weight to take over and do most of the work. There are some subtleties in feel and how that translates to each user specifically. I love weight but, I also appreciate a balanced method which lately I have been leaning towards. I will say that face feel are quite comparable between the two with the Ti perhaps still edging the Copper by a minut number. The thermal end of the heat retention from the Copper mitigates that advantage from the Ti but, I’ve only into this trek with 3 shaves and I’m still experimenting with shave attack and adaptation. Furthermore, during my shaves I haven’t encountered an unacceptable way to achieve my shave results in either reaching DFS or BBS results. Neutral, guard or cap riding style have worked well for the most part. I can’t throw around the Copper D-back as I can with the Ti D-back but, the Ti requires a minimal amount more of pressure in achieving what the Copper does on just pure weight and the laws of gravity & physics. I know, not a definitive answer. I just need to get more shave time to really get into the pluses or minuses of each razor with their distinct alloy make up.
I will say this with the utmost of certainty. If one likes a lighter version of a mid-aggressive shaver with ease of feel on skin, the Ti is your tool. Conversely, if one enjoys greater weight and substantial feel in hand with nearly equal shave feel minus the maneuverability, one might steer themselves towards the Copper. I think for the time being both are comparable in shave results in my early findings. And both are simply fantastic whisker reducers. Hope this gives you a sort of feel for what to expect my friend.
I would like to add that both shavers have done the same thing in providing intuitive and near spot on performance from the get go. They are both almost natural like in their disposition in providing comfortable and effective shaves.
Happy shaves…
