Had something arrive up in Canada. Polishing is top notch and razor has great balance in titanium.

The Paradigm DB Ti is a wonderful tool, but I have found that it is very blade dependent. So far, Nacet, Accuforge, Wizamet and Permasharp are the best for me. Bic Chrome, Personna Reds are not very good for me.

RAD is just a permanently temporary condition.  I'll get over it.. eventually.

It appears only the first batch of preorders got the wooden box (and burlap sack) treatment?

It appears that way. Or maybe to keep shipping down to Canada. I haven't seen packages from others for the 2nd batch.

Good to see Andy.
That's what I was just thinking about the boxes maybe it was just the pre-order that receive those.

I really want to order one now, hoping to experience the so-called gentle and efficient razor, but buying it at a higher price always make someone look stupid.

Agree...don't buy one...that will really show 'em.

Your case may be an outlier....all my razors perform great with all my blades...and Diamondback Ti is no exception.

FWIW, I would not use Bic Chrome and Personna Reds in any razor...personal opinion.

Interesting to hear…
I guess I was lucky, I found that all the blades I generally use on a regular basis work very well in the DB Ti: Feather, Nacet, GSB, Wizamet, Polsilver. As well as Kai, which I don’t use regularly.
I remember trying Bic Chrome a while ago, in other razors, and didn’t particularly like it.
Same with Personna Reds, although it was even further back…
