Glad it worked for you...the efficiency does come with a slight tradeoff in terms of comfort (blade feel) but it is
not a deal breaker. Certainly extends the range of what is a very accomplished razor...by making it more versatile.

I have been using the Ti Paradigm Dback exclusively since I bought one off the BST on another forum. I continue to be amazed with its efficiency and comfort. BBS shaves every time! Definitely a desert island razor that I never want to be without! Hits the sweet spot for me.

Kudos to Andy and Paradigm Shaveware for producing a terrific razor!

Dear Paradigm Customer:

Thank you so much for your purchase of the Titanium Diamondback and for entrusting me with this project. I’m writing to update you on project and delivery status. The last release sold out, and this one looks to sell out as well. If you know anyone who wants one, this would be a great time to purchase, with the presale still running.

They razors are currently being machined at Yates Precision Manufacturing, after which they will be sent out for polishing. I’m estimating that they will be in the mail to you toward the end of July. As you may know, Jake is ramping up a new engineering job, and he’s running somewhat behind. Rest assured Paradigm is doing everything possible to get your Diamondback into your hands as quickly as possible.

Please feel free to email me directly with any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Andrew Andersen

Good morning Mike, just wondering if you have heard if Andy is still on track as per the above email?

Thank you.

It's sharp and it cuts. I like it...

What we had here was 2.5 passes of blissful shaving. Easy, smooth & effectively efficient. For those that are in line to get one and have been patiently waiting, just hang in there. It’s totally worth it. For the majority at least as it’s virtually impossible to please every single wet shaver in the known universe. It works, period.

Last I heard YPM was late and running behind.  That was weeks ago.  This happened with the last batch too, but I see this as slightly different.

I am sure Jake has a lot on his plate now that he went back to a full time engineering position for a company along with this but still it’s painful to wait.

Probably sometime in August as of now would be my guess.

Just keep in mind I’m not affiliated with Paradigm, this is my guess as a friend of Andy’s who speaks to him occasionally about the Dback Ti. Mostly we talk about everything but shaving.

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my earlier message.

I also appreciate that you are not affiliated to Paradigm and Andy is more of a friend, and note that when talking with him - it's not generally about shaving.

Just so you are aware, I did email Andy directly - like he said on his last email before reaching out to you on here, but haven't as yet received a response to my message but I also appreciate that he's probably very busy as well.

Here are 3 polished Paradigm Razors:

Left to Right Ti2, Ti Dback, Ti Dback (first polish run prototype finish).

The top-caps above show the rounded corners more prominent in the production finish. Sure, you can see the extra polishing does result in a better looking product with minimal changes to the shave.

All aside - I still enjoy the prototype razor a pinch more, it’s just a tad less aggressive and smoother if you can believe it.

Stay patient fellas - it’s worth it.

I spoke to Paradigm Shaveware  recently and Andy has a big update.  YPM should be shipping the next batch of razors to him next week!

From there it’s off to polishing and returned to Paradigm for inspection, boxing, labeling and shipping.

It’s almost time and your patience will be rewarded with some comfortable, smooth shaves!

dtownvino Mike the update is good news for everyone. Thank you!!

Love the photos showing the polishing difference between the prototype and production too (first time I’m seeing these even though you posted a while ago). Awesome!!

Does anyone has insight into when the next batch may start shipping?
