I guess we've all grown up... So Andy take the time you need, no hurry with the release, mid March is fine. Will you still need more time? Take it... fingers crossed there is no childish behaviour here.

Sounds like they’re already trying to weed out the riffraff  Tongue

He still needs to get the zero series back (FedEx has them lost until Monday).  Once they are back he will inspect, shave with, etc.   if all good, half the order will go for polishing.  How long that takes, I have no idea.  I’m estimating (based off of experience for companies I’ve worked with) it’s about a month delay all in for half the order.  The rest of it, again depends on Jake’s delivery and how fast a second group gets polished… but I bet he’s only a few weeks behind that unless one of these variables has a delay.

I’ve seen the second potential finish in pictures. It looks sweet as well!

Good stuff!

I kinda tuned out of this thread for a while. Has the polishing been covered? It's supposed to be a new process, I think, does this process have a name?

In the meantime I’m enjoying my satin Salient as a daily shaver. It’s an exceptional razor comparable with the Yates H plate in my hands and much more comfortable than any Karve (plates C or higher).

And I gave up on that thirsty synthetic lemon scented collaboration soap as it was a big disappointment especially given its many fans. I tried it and gave it ample opportunity but it was a no go.

So until the Ti Diamondback is available I’m happily using this satin Salient. No rush Andy

Was the scent the issue on the soap, or was the performance underwhelming?
It seems like it could be an interesting scent but I haven’t really seen any reviews of it.

Ah. Thanks for that. I like most GD bases, never found a lemon that didn't take me down the Pledge road. Smile
