zero series is pre production but ultimately the same quality as production.
If they are not meant for sale, what are they used for?
Pre production - to test the shave, test different finishes, check the quality of the work, etc.
Think of it as a samples before a purchase and think of it as a handful, not a lot of product.
This is a very normal step in manufacturing.
Usually there are these steps before profiting prototypes, alpha, beta, zero series then production.
Here you could skip pure prototypes alpha and beta as Andy had working CAD files and already made ~200 of the SS version.
Hope this helps.

I suggested, Andy take your time and get it right don't rush them just double check things.
Completely agree. Although, I suspect Andy would not compromise quality for speed.
They should be really nice.

It happened before with the 2019 Diamondback release. There were delays, and some razors came with uneven polishing problems.
He should definitely double-check to ensure that the new razors meet quality standards.

You would be wrong. You should read some old threads here. I'll leave it at that. No need to pee in the pool.

That’s an interesting perspective. The reason I made the earlier statement is based on the same past events you are referencing. In my personal and professional experience, I have found that you learn the most from mis-steps and failure, versus success. Entrepreneurs that attempt a come back after challenging experiences tend to be resilient and learn from past mistakes. While I can certainly be wrong about that as it applies to Andy, I suspect I won’t be. Although this could be rooted in a character flaw of mine, as I tend to focus on building people up and not tearing them down.

Did he send an email out. I never received one although I'll wait patiently anyway. Just wondered if emails went out and I was missed ?
