Jake made a few handles.  They look good in the video Andy showed me.  Hopefully Andy takes possession this week. They need to be test polished along with heads after a few test shaves.

From a mfg standpoint to get the logistics and the finishes done I’m sure Andy will comment soon to us (like I mentioned early Feb before).

It’s getting close gentlemen!

All unpolished Ti razors I have seen look quite lifeless and grey.
This one looks good to go...wonder if the Ti being used is treated in some way
prior to machining.
The way it is picking up glints off the workshop light is unreal.

It is Ti6al4v aka grade5 Ti.

Nothing altered or treated.

Can Yates manufacture any razor that the CAD drawing is available? I'm asking because Janus has the razor designs, but he has been unable to find a machine shop to produce his razors. If Yates is capable of this, it might be a beneficial partnership.

I have a machined Ti Merica, and it's beautiful. There was definitely nothing done to the one on Jake's post.

I don't see why he wouldn't be able to make it. Eric should contact Jake.
