I quote a second mail...:

I neglected to add: please email me for refund if you prefer! That is a standing option for 30 days from date of receipt of razor. You may not wish to wait, though I hope you do. It may be up to a couple of weeks.

Not a great restart for him  Confused At least a refund is an option.

This morning I received an email from Andrew.  It read:

Dear Customer,
Owing to overwhelming response, we have found ourselves short of inventory.
Please be assured that the delay will be short, and I will keep you updated.
Thank you for your patience!

Andy Andersen

I am, needless to say, less than pleased.

Well, I asked for a refund and got it within the hour.  That much is good.

Well that's one way to build up some extra capitol to make some more razors!! I seem to recall a vendor in Canada that used to do that regularly...

Nice first shave with the Salient. Razor feels relatively mild but was efficient (we’ll see how long the bbs lasts tomorrow). Easy to shave against the grain, a litmus test for me. Also the handle, while not particularly artful, was comfortable / ergonomic.

I think it was Alan who said on IG that this razor is both more efficient and smoother than the diamondback. If that's true, then it's a winner!

Yes it’s me that said it!! I don’t know what to tell you it is smooth Yet Efficient!! Better than DB2020 I don’t know YMMV it’s equal or more smoother!!

But that’s my take!!
