Paradigm 2020 Diamondback

I own a Diamondback from the first release through WCS last year. I was happy that the razor I got not suffered from major quality issues like so many others. IMO the Diamondback is a great Razor. Good to see that the inconsistent quality from the first batch has improved. Does anyone know if the current offered razors have the same geometry like the 2019 models?

According to Andy the 2 are the exact same in geometric dimensions

First shave impression with fresh BIC is very good, wonderfully smooth and quite efficient if not at the top by that measure. The handle is too long and heavy to rate an A for my head shave and I'll likely swap it out in the future.

I am gobsmacked that anyone would consider swapping out the handle of this razor. To me that is like swapping out the hood ornament of a Rolls Royce. You own it and can do what you want, I guess. SMH.

I have no problem swapping something out that betters the shave.

I swapped the hood ornament on my Mercedes , might do the Rolls if I found something I liked better.

Who are we trying to please here?

I also wish the handle was a bit shorter, 90mm would have been perfect. That is literally my only criticism of the DB.

Yeah I'm an 80-85mm guy and prefer a more traditional balance point north of where it is on the DB which is quite handle heavy for a head shaver.

I find the DB both significantly smoother and more efficient than the original Cx plate. I haven't used the +/++ plates yet so can't make that comparison. Blade feel is also much less on the DB.
