Yeah it sounds like he’s working on polishing them and putting them on the site as they’re ready so keep an eye on the site.

Still waiting on mine and hope the angle is as intuitive as everyone says. The angle in this video looks extremely steep. Is this the way all of you are using this razor?

someone on another forum said they get best results with the DB riding the safety bar, i.e. steep angle. i'm still waiting on mine but i generally find i get the best results doing this with all razors anyway

As I posted during my review I found that about a 30 degree angle worked best for me.

Couple shaves so far with my Diamondback. It’s a keeper. I’m trying to thin my razors to eliminate overlaps. The Diamondback will be my stainless steel DE going forward. Very smooth razor but like all have said very efficient and you can still feel the blade.

I did the same thing. I sold all my DEs with the exception of the DB and a Masamune/Nodachi hybrid. The only other DE I see myself ever needing is a 1.55 WR2.

I tend to favor the bar when shaving with any razor. I find myself doing this a little with the DB also. I had worse results when riding the cap. My bests shaves have been when I just didn't think about angle and enjoyed the shave.

Many report the angle is intuitive. I agree.

I don't think it is a narrow range either. My poor results when riding the cap were from when I was really riding the cap enjoying the feel of the finish. I get great results when I "just shave".

I haven’t used this razor yet, and I’m a little confused after reading the comments here and then watching this YT review. He mentioned the noticeable blade feel several times during his shave, yet there are multiple comments in this thread about the “ghost blade”, i.e. lack of any blade feel with the razor. Seems contradictory.

Yeah...I don’t get any blade feel at all tbh.
