Okay, here's a more open-ended question .... Does anybody have a serious preference for 7075 aluminum over 6061? Here's why I ask. 7075 really cannot be anodized, 6061 anodizes great.

Can 7075 be highly polished? The reason I ask is because I would rather have more strength that colors. What was the original Javelin designed to use?

Oh yeah, and a more traditional handle would be nice too.  Happy2

I wouldn’t. We are shaving with it so I see no need for added strength of the 7075 over 6061.

Indeed, you are shaving with it. The strength is not so important. The thing with anodizing is to prevent oxidizing, not so much the colors.

I had a chance to try Javelin, too. I tried all razors from Paradigm.
Honestly, the best one was Javelin. It was so unique, since the base plate and the bars were so thin.
The skin stretch made the shave so efficient and it was so smooth, too.
This is the only razor I found more efficient and even smoother than RS10 aggressive plate.
Hope you will make more Javelins and put them on sale.
I highly recommend you sell both SS and AL version.

The Diamondback was smooth but the efficiency was not equal to the Javelin.

I also prefer the javelin but the diamondback is still a very good shaver, looking forward to your next project
Where were all you Javelin fans when I was thinking of releasing the razor lol. Did you have aluminum or stainless? That design could be revived — provided it's in a light metal.
Paradigm Shaveware Unfortunately I only got to try it after the Diamondback was released.  Personally I think the Javelin would fit perfectly in your Titanium collection of razors.  Please do not read this wrong, the Diamondback is an excellent razor, but when put side by side with the Javelin, the Javelin shined. Unfortunately initial testers of the first Paradigm found it mainly too aggressive, yet to me and several of my closest friends it still remains the best Paradigm razor.  I own the others and enjoy them, however when I want that perfect shave the original Paradigm along with a few others in my collection are the ones I reach for. In this hobby I have found what one group loves another group doesn't.
I used the SS and own the aluminum Javelin. My only issue with aluminum is one drop in the sink and I have a damaged razor, not so with Titanium.

This is great news. By keep it around do you mean another run or are you shooting for a continuous availability?

This is one of those "never say never" questions. It will depend upon demand and what else I am cooking up Wink
