Last word I’d heard is that Bullgoose and Paradigm would have another batch of the Ti II this month or next and then the single edge and then another DE in some sort of stainless. Maybe 17-4 but possibly something easier to machine like 316.

Thanks for the update. I’m interested in the stainless version. Is this due to manufacturing problems? Demand was high

I’m basing everything I’ve said off of what I’ve read in forums and I haven’t read anything that led me to believe there were problems. Demand began to far exceed supply and 17-4 turned out to be harder on tooling and more difficult to work with than 303 or 316.
Andy from Paradigm has stated that there will be another stainless razor with identical head geometry but we just aren’t positive on what type of stainless it will be.
Head over to the Paradigm Shaveware site and sign up for email updates to stay in the loop for his releases and you’ll get one when they become available.

Mine showed up via Spain on Monday.  I was also fortunate enough to get a package from Germany as well (seen in photo).

First shave was yesterday with a Feather.  I had read there was not much blade feel so I figured a Feather may change that a little.  I admit, I do apply slight pressure.  The blade feel, to me, was more than my polished Blackbird.  That's OK because I appreciate the extra exposure on the BB.  I was just a little surprised.  Second shave today was with an Astra with as little pressure as possible.  The blade feel was dampened, but it was certainly still there.

The 17-4, so far, seems to shave closer than anything else in my den. 10 hours later and my face is still smooth.

I'm a little perplexed why some feel there is no blade feel.  My limited experience is polar opposite.

I just used my 17-4 last night with a Polsilver 2 pass near BBS. I had very little blade feel to the point you almost wonder if you forgot the blade

I had the exact same experience as you. I even wondered if I got a defective razor because my experience was so different from the majority of other people.

I ended up "lending" the 17-4 to my brother-in-law.

I do not understand how this double-edged razor can be so revolutionary if the geometry is almost the same as an Above the Tie ... can you explain it to me?

Paradigm razor SS
Blade Gillette Red SS
First pass WTG. My first thought was here we go again smooth shave with zero blade feel, if not for the toast sound I thought I forgot a blade, when I rinse hardly any beard will be removed. WRONG! Took off nearly all the whiskers.
2nd pass XTG. Good sound and again no blade feel. If I would have stopped it would be DFS.
3rd pass ATG It was so smooth I even went across the grain on my neck, which for me is always difficult. Rinse, WOW cotton ball BBS.
IMHO this razor is amazing, beautiful look, shiny, great weight and the best DE First shave I have ever had. YMMV but I now believe a razor can be extremely smooth, easy to maneuver and give an awesome shave.

Are you still loving this razor?

The blade doesn't vanish, If one holds the razor in just the right way, there would no blade feel at all. If one deviates from that angle window you'll feel the blade. Some razors give less blade feel than others. For me the Paradigm 17-4 excels at obscuring the blade within a wide range of angles, but once in a while I feel it.

I am. Used it last night and had a 2 pass near BBS shave without having to think about the shave at all. It is in my top 5 razors and I'm glad I got one. I sold the Titanium 2 because I enjoyed the shave with the 17-4 more and 2 of my other top 5 are titanium because I like the feel of the shave better with titanium usually.
