That was the first material I used to turn a real handle, which was the first PK-47 prototype.

As a matter of fact, I still have several pieces of that rod.

Just found the first photo of that PK-47 prototype (dimensions were modified a bit after that).

and it looks superb with a knot!

Very classy. If one of these come up I’ll have to jump if the specs are right.
