PAA Starling Gem Type Razor

I bought one for my Son-in-Law as it was released just before my grandaughter was born and I thought for him it would be a great momento of that great moment. For me personally I have found that I do not like such lightweight razors. I have used the alumigoose, ATT calypso, RR Hawk. Guerilla all in aluminum and find I do not get as good of a shave versus the SS counterpart, YMMV

I hear you about the aesthetics of the razor. Under the baseplate is where it belongs but I have found with PAA it is all about marketing. Did you see the video with him using a box cutter blade that looked like it had blood on it? I mean just get a new Gem blade if you are going to make a promotional video for a new razor. Maybe throw a few bucks to a hand model as well......

Now thats out of the way. I love the Fallout series of video games and all the promotional material he puts out can go right into that video game.

In fact that would be a great Fallout addon. You search for miscellaneous shaving gear.

To each his own BUT, I think this Razor looks Awesome! As far as weight goes I never had a problem with light Razors and hope the same stands true with this one. Mine should be here today!

You got it and shaved with it already?

I sure did. I held off shaving knowing it was coming yesterday. Shaves in the pm. I was off work so that helped with not shaving in the morning.

You looking for a like new razor by chance

I know you are supposed to learn a razor but with that steep angle it won't work for me. The gems i have are so much more smooth.

I find it super aggressive and not that efficient. I mean I started with the beta plate and took it right off. Still had shadow after the shave. Not wanting to scrape my face i waited until this morning and used the same soap and blade and had a great gem bullet shave.
