yohannrjm, I'm so sorry for the loss of Romeo. He certainly was a handsome fellow. Perhaps you'll share a photo or two of your new guy when he takes up residence.

You do realize, Marko, that at the rate Archie is growing he is eventually going to take over your side of the bed and there won't be a lot you'll be able to do about it. Winking

Archie is one lucky puppy.

Archie is one lucky puppy.

Precisely why we NEVER allowed any of our dogs into our bed with us. Our dogs were 100#+ and a dog that big locks everything in place. One exception to a Rottweiler being in bed... One of them was clearly hurting and he got the guest bed in the guest room for a few days. We had a diagnosis of a brain tumor and we were very glad we allowed him to use it to ease his pain.

His female companion would bring toys to the bed after he was gone and drop them there. No one can tell me that dogs don't grieve. Why is my keyboard getting hard to see? Must be allergies.

I've had far too many fantastic dogs die in my arms, but it's good to see pups and the renewal of life. Pups soothe the pain of loss.

Marko, enjoy Archie, and yes we want pix. (Who am I to write that!!??? I'm a hypocrite.)

This is our other current animal companion - Petey (who also answers to many names).

He's the nicest dog, and very loving. He was also a rescue and even though we initially had some issues with other dogs around him, after a little training he has completely settled down. He loves his walks and especially likes playing in the snow.

Let's see if any of you can guess the mix of breeds that makes up this handsome canine. Big Grin

Yohann, I couldn’t begin to guess but, whatever those breeds may be, he certainly got the handsome gene from each of them. Winking

It’s just amazing the joy pets can bring into our lives.

He's gorgeous and I have not idea the mix but I'll just guess. I think I see some English Bulldog, Jack Russell and Boston Terrier but again no idea. Beautiful dog !

Well, that's a good start. He is a mix of 3 breeds, and one of them is English Bulldog.

Well, not quite Shitzu.

From his genetic analysis he's about 50% American Standard Bulldog, 25% English Bulldog, and 25% Pekingese. A strange combination, but a wonderful dog. Smile
