We have some statues and sculptures in our yard. Thought I'd give a tour.

This is the first statue we installed - a flutist because our daughter plays the flute. She sits smack in the middle of the yard.

To the flutist's right is Clare, a junkyard giraffe - about 9 feet tall. Clare's neck is comprised of 2 truck springs. Her head moves and bobs in the breeze. She is hard not to like.

To the left of the flutist is a junkyard gooney bird made from old farm implements.

Above the gooney bird sits a watchful concrete owl.

We have a stone bodied heron

Also a roadrunner and some chipmunks

Last item in the backyard is another stone bodied heron on a natural granite bird bath. To the right is a concrete angel puppy. It marks the final resting spot of our very first dog.

Out front we have a big metal turtle and some granite rock owls.

Watching over our pond is a junkyard heron. He is 7 feet tall.

To the right of the pond is a cast iron dog. He is actually a grave site and two wonderful dogs are buried beneath him.

These cranes are at the opposite end of the pond. The pond is almost empty this summer.

Lastly is a wrought iron crow in our flower bed.

When ever I walk by the grave markers I pause a spell to talk to the fine dogs who were great companions.
The other stuff is just fun to look at. We enjoy them and hope you did too.

Wonderful, Phil. It's the kind of place one would never want to leave. Smile
