Gentlemen,

Nancy and I cordially invite you to our expanded Badger Knot Types & Properties website page.

Our objectives in developing this expanded page are to describe the knots that fill our shaving brushes and, perhaps more importantly, to answer many of the questions we receive on a daily basis from those just starting out in wet shaving as well as from those with many years' experience in this fascinating hobby.

Although the characteristics of Morris & Forndran knots have been explored for years in the wet shaving fora, our focus here is to bring that knowledge up to date.  At the same time, we pull back the covers to discuss some of the rigor that goes on behind the scenes with our BSSW knots.

As a husband and wife "micro-business," we might not have the financial resources of some of our competitors; however we believe you will find that the rigor described on this page, combined with our flexibility and attention to your satisfaction are second to none.

Should you wish to further explore the world of our fully hand-crafted shaving brushes, it will be our privilege to be of service.

Best regards,

Brad, Nancy, and (of course) Gus

ESBrushmaker - Brad tremendously valuable resource. Thanks for the time it took to create.

I cannot recommend your offerings more highly, both from an aesthetic and quality perspective. I own several of your brushes, couple of BSSW and an M&F Blonde and value each among the best in my collection. Many of your creations pack the WOW factor for me!

I need to remind myself to acquire a M&F Finest brush. Best wishes to you, Nancy (and, of course, Gus) on the continued success of your business.
